Investment in NZQA good for industry training
The Government has announced new funding to support NZQA capability. This new funding supports national qualifications, streamlines business operations, and the replacement of information systems including enhancing records of learning.
"The capability of NZQA will underpin the growth in industry training", said Darel Hall Executive Director of the Industry Training Federation. "As we grow to 150,000 trainees in 2005, and 250,000 in 2007 investment in NZQA capability is good news for industry training".
"NZQA has an important role in building a successful and innovative knowledge society, including workplace learning".
