Information Campaign On OSH Law Vital
“The information campaign on new health and safety law is absolutely vital given the volume of misinformation around about the Act,” said Ross Wilson today.
OSH today launched a public information campaign about the new law which comes into effect in May this year.
“The CTU fully supports the campaign which is about making New Zealand workplaces safe and healthy,” said Ross Wilson.
Ross Wilson said the CTU was making the campaign as a priority for 2003.
“Unions are completely committed to making the new law work,” he said.
“It is absolutely essential that employers groups and politicians stop politicking on this issue so we can work together to turn around our appalling health and safety record.”
