Clark and King Cultivate Taxpayer Victimhood
"The Labour-Anderton government's version of justice for the victims of Dr Selwyn Leeks means taxpayers once again shouldering responsibility for crimes in which they had no part," said Libertarianz health deregulation spokesman Richard McGrath today.
"Discredited artist Helen Clark and her sidekick, Minister of the Die-As-You-Wait Public Health System, want taxpayers to reimburse the people that Dr Leeks is alleged to have tortured during his spell at Lake Alice Hospital's Child & Adolescent Unit," said Dr McGrath.
"Once again the productive class will be made liable for the mistakes of others," he added. "They have already been forced to underwrite various People's Banks, the People's Airline, People's Hospitals, Jim's Job Machine and a thousand other make-work ant farms, as well as a burgeoning growth industry of full and final Treaty settlements."
Libertarianz wants Selwyn Leeks extradicted back from Australia, made to face criminal charges and if convicted of these to compensate his victims. "If this can't be done, then any payouts should come from people who voted for those political parties that favour retention of the public health system that failed to hold Dr Leeks accountable for his actions and allowed him to flee the country. Parties such as Labour, the Jim Anderton Party, ACT, National, the Greens, NZ First, and the Peter Dunne Party."
Dr McGrath said his party would "sell off public hospitals, dissolve the bloated Health bureaucracy presided over by Annette King, and give people back their stolen taxes so that they can organise whatever level of health cover they wish with the provider of their choice."
It's enough to make you vote Libertarianz!
