TINO POUTAMA.
National Maori language radio service Ruia Mai is broadcasting a weekly bilingual political special in the lead-up to
this year's general election.
Hosted by Ruia Mai political editor Shane Taurima, NGA TINO POUTAMA gives political parties and groups the opportunity
to promote their strategies and policies for Maori, to Maori.
Mr Tanczos is the Green Party's spokesman for Treaty of Waitangi issues as well as justice, youth affairs, drug policy
and tertiary education.
The one-hour show is broadcast between 10am and 11am every Friday and includes political representatives speaking in
both English and Maori as well as questions and answers with the host.
Calls are taken from listeners around the country on 0800 462 747 between approximately 10:30am and 10:50am.
Listeners can also tune in on the Internet via the website www.ruiamai.co.nz and the show will be replayed every Monday
night between 5:05pm and 6pm.
