Anti Motorway Protesters Arrested In Police Raid

About ten people have been arrested this morning in wellington as police (complete with riot helmets) smashed down the doors of the Stagecraft theatre in Tonks Ave this morning.
There were at least 20 cops in riot gear, ten city council suits, and about fifteen security guards involved in the eviction.
The theatre had been taken over and occupied by protesters yesterday during May day protests. The protesters had barricaded the doors and chained themselves onto parts of the buildings.
