Second Young Nationals Candidate Selected

Published: Thu 18 Apr 2002 09:30 AM
NZ Young Nationals Chair Grant Tyrrell today congratulated Paul Foster on his selection as the National Candidate for Dunedin South.
"Paul is a highly motivated and talented individual and will run a successful campaign. As a Young Nationals Regional Chair he has been inspirational in bringing Southern to new heights of membership and communication, I expect these skills will stand him in good stead for his next challenge," Grant Tyrrell commented.
"Paul is the second candidate from Young Nationals to be selected for National with Dan Gordon in full campaign mode in the marginal seat of Waimakariri. Dan, a former New Zealand Young Nationals Chair, is currently building a groundswell of support in an Electorate that appreciates good old fashioned representation - not nebulous future world leaders.
"It is a credit to Young Nationals that these two fine candidates have been chosen to represent National and I look forward to another two Young Nationals in Parliament," Grant Tyrrell concluded.
