IT Needs Labour Party Like the Sex Industry Does

" Paul Swain's gloating about increases in IT industry sales and services is a desperate attempt to claim credit for something for which this government has no role!" said Libertarianz commerce deregulation spokesman Scott Wilson today. "He is as responsible for growth in the IT industry as he is for growth in the sex industry - less than nothing."
While few would doubt the great news about growth in the IT sector, Minister for Information Technology Paul Swain has had nothing to do with this, says Wilson. "Despite the talk about "taskforces" and other bureaucratic talkfests about spending other people's money, the best thing that Swain and the entire Labour/Alliance coalition could do is get out of the way," he says. "Abolishing GST would be one small step to letting consumers of IT keep more of their own money to purchase more if they wish!"
Wilson notes one important difference only between the government and the sex industry. "Although everybody gets screwed with both," he says, "at least the sex industry leave them satisfied afterwards."
It's enough to make you vote Libertarianz! ENDS
