"This weekend the Young Nats should reject the flatulence of the current National Caucus and call for the National Party
to begin standing for principle, and to have the courage to confront the culture of dependence, racism, central control
and hatred for productiveness that is rife in New Zealand today" declared Libertarianz Leader and Coromandel Candidate
Peter Cresswell today.
"Bill English and the current National Caucus are not ambitious for New Zealand. National hasn't been this unambitious
since the early 1970s," he says
"National talks about success being rewarded not taxed, but doesn't advocate truly ambitious policies like slashing
taxes or even capping spending. They talk about Maori being in 'grievance mode', but it is they themselves who expanded
this exponentially while in power, and as yet they show no sign of any ambitious abolition of race based legislation or
funding."
"National talk about education being important, but yet wont dare call for the nauseatingly politically correct
universities and schools to be taken out of state hands, or offer a truly ambitious policy like giving parents the
choice of getting their money back so they can choose to buy the education they want for their children."
Cresswell says he is encouraged by the call to buy a third frigate and reinstate the air strike capability in the air
force. "However, for all their pro-Western alliance rhetoric they still don't have the guts to let US nuclear-capable
vessels into our waters."
Cresswell says he hopes that the Young Nats think carefully this weekend about what they are against, and what they
believe in: "If you support capitalism, and the right of individuals to peacefully go about their lives without
interference from others of from the State; if you support the Western alliance; if you support the right for people to
be treated equally under the law - no matter what race they are; if you believe people have the right to own their own
lives; THEN TELL BILL ENGLISH AND THE NATIONAL PARTY CAUCUS! It's about time they got a wake up call from their own
principles!"
"And if they don't listen," advises Cresswell, "then join the only party that believes you own your own life.
Libertarianz."
It's enough to make you vote Libertarianz!
