Fellow Control-Freaks To Swap Tips With Clark

Published: Fri 22 Feb 2002 11:12 AM
"Helen Clark's tax-victim funded jaunt to Stockholm's 'Progressive Governance Summit' is simply a gathering of socialist control freaks who get off on regulating, stealing from and socially engineering their citizens," declared Libertarianz Leader and Coromandel Candidate Peter Cresswell today.
He notes that "New Zealand's tax-victims will be paying Clark to present reports promoting even more theft of New Zealanders' wealth, so she can spend even more on welfare, on the racist apartheid system being institutionalised by law, and on the die-while-you-wait Soviet-style health system we presently 'enjoy'.
But Clark is also there to learn from her "fellow control freaks" says Cresswell with a frown. "I wonder if she will be taking apartheid promotion tips from the scientifically challenged Thabo Mbeki, who runs the South African broadcast media with an iron fist to promote the ANC, denies adequate medicine to AIDS victims, and routinely confiscates private property as corruption grows and grows?
"Or maybe she will take tips from French PM Lionel Jospin, who encourages the prosecution of individuals with ties to drug users, or of retailers who cannot prove sufficient income to explain their lifestyles!
Cresswell says he shudders to think of what other lessons in control she might bring back and wish to impose on a fawning New Zealand public. He notes that by contrast "a Libertarianz Government will free New Zealanders from having their income and wealth confiscated by the state, and instead will allow them to reclaim ownership of their bodies and their lives.
"The only laws Libertarianz will promote will be those that prohibit the initiation of force and fraud against people and their property - in other words, laws that prohibit precisely the practices that have become the hallmark of this Labour/Alliance Government and its Green co-conspirators of control" concluded Cresswell.
It's enough to make you vote Libertarianz!
