~ THURS, 13 December - vigil for peace, 5pm to 6pm at the Cenotaph, the vigils will be held every Thursday at the same time and place until the bombing stops - these vigils will be continuing through the holiday period if the bombing continues. ~ TUES, 18 December - screening of Ngatahi, rap artist, poet, musician, dj, and now filmmaker Te Kupu takes you into a zone where Hip-Hop, poetry and activism exist as one; Ngatahi combines music and images with thoughts and comprehensions, it's a stimulating street-wise orchestration of philosophical thought focusing on socio-political issues amongst Indigenous and Black people in the USA, Canada, England, France and Colombia; 7pm sharp at City Cinema, City Gallery (screening duration is 65 minutes).
