The Accused – Ariel Sharon Doco

Monday 29 October: 'The Accused' - a documentary on the Israeli occupation of Southern Lebanon in 1982 which examines the role that Arial Sharon played in the massacre of over 2000 Paletineian refugees who had fled from the Israeli army and taken refuge in Shabra and Shatile (Lebanon). The documentary includes current UN War Crimes Tribunal attempts to indict Sharon for Crimes Against Humanity. Screening at 6-15pm in the Mezzanine Floor Meeting Room, Wellington Central Public Library, Victoria Street. Organised by the Wellington Palestine Group.
