New Zealand Liberation Party Welcomes Former Canadian PM
The New Zealand Liberation Party eagerly welcomed PM Mulrooney as he came here to persuade New Zealand to join NAFTA
(North American Free Trade Agreement). We believe that this new agreement will hail a new era of prosperity for New
Zealand as similar trade agreements with Asia and Europe have done for Singapore and Ireland. The names of the two
countries that our politicians have been repeating over and over again for quite some time now in the hope that we will
emulate their success while not actually performing any of the actions that made them successful.
“Singapore and Ireland are both small countries that have had access to large markets now it’s New Zealand’s time to
shine” Says Scott Hutchings NZ Liberation Party spokesperson for Finance who knows that NAFTA will ensure New Zealand
access to the biggest market of all, the market of the United States of America. He is in fact stunned that anyone could
disagree with an agreement to sell New Zealand products un-tariffed to the most profitable consumer market in the world.
Scott Hutchings thinks after years of the United States having open ended access to our markets it’s time New Zealand
returned the favour.
“We are not saying that NAFTA will be the only economic reform that will be needed but it will be a gigantic leap
towards economic prosperity and an economy finally resembling that of Ireland and Singapore, an economy this country
richly deserves and needs.”
Scott Hutchings believes that if the New Zealand government signs onto NAFTA as well as embarking on other policies of
financial reform within New Zealand such as lessening the power of the state in the economy and seeking to ensure
everyone has the opportunity to rise to the top no matter what their background then New Zealand will be well on the way
towards the social and economic vision of liberation that the New Zealand Liberation Party advocates.
