PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Organisers of Mayday celebrations in Wellington have noted the theft of the $10,000 inflatable figure of Ronald McDonald from a McDonald's restaurant in Hamilton, and ask that he bought to Wellington to stand trial on May 1st.
"Ronald McDonald is guilty of crimes against workers rights, the environment and animals" said Ross Gardiner, a Wellington Mayday organiser. "If the abductors could turn him over to us, he will be given a trial that could leave him feeling rather deflated".
"Hopefully someone will get their hands on that other corporate clown, Mike Moore, for his similar crimes committed in the name of globalisation". concluded Mr Gardiner
