NORML presents J DAY Saturday 5 May 2001

Published: Fri 30 Mar 2001 09:47 AM
NORML New Zealand is proud to present "J DAY", a global celebration of cannabis culture that has grown to include over 130 cities around the world.
Free events are being organised in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. All events start at High Noon and run to about 5pm.
Auckland - Albert Park
Wellington - Frank Kitts Park
Christchurch - Cathedral Square
Dunedin - The Octogon
J DAY is New Zealand's longest running and most popular cannabis law reform event, and because of the international time zones, Kiwi cannabis enthusiasts will be the first in the world to spark the chalice and begin the ceremonies. J DAY 2001 will be an "extravaganja" not to be missed!
As well as a selection of top bands and DJs (the final line up for each city will be announced soon), each J DAY event will feature a range of guest speakers, information booths, hemp displays, food and craft stalls, and more.
