Chisholm, 1066, And All That Sludge!

Published: Mon 20 Nov 2000 10:52 AM
After 1066 days of Sludgegate, Adrian Chisholm will tomorrow get his day in court – although not at 10 o’clock as previously announced!
For reasons that are unclear (at least to the Chisholm team) the start of the case has been delayed until 2:15pm Monday afternoon.
Speaking this morning, Adrian Chisholm said: “I am looking forward to my day in court.”
It is said the first Chisholm came from Normandy with William the Conqueror in 1066. Let us hope that the number 1066 proves to be similarly auspicious for New Zealand’s fighting Chisholm.
