THE INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE ELIMINATION OF POVERTY.
In CHRISTCHURCH we will be
ASSEMBLING at 4:30
in HIGH STREET (outside the WINZ office)
MARCHING to CITY MALL
and SIGNING AN OPEN LETTER TO THE PRIME MINISTER, Helen Clark, calling on the coalition government to restore benefit levels to the pre-1991 benefit cuts and to work to eliminate third world debt.
Speakers at City Mall will address these issues in particular.
