PRESS RELEASE
The press release from both ACT and the LifeScience group is completely wrong in their assumption that Physicians and
Scientists are a "lobby Group". Even a moments thought should have told them we have nothing to do with WTO issues.
The letter was my personal view concerning the Singapore Free Trade Agreement. It was most definitely not a press
release from the PSRG.
The Physicians and Scientists for Responsible Genetics is an independent, non-aligned, professional group involved in
educating the public of New Zealand on matters of genetic engineering biotechnology.
I would suggest both Gerry Eckhoff and Dr Rolleston check their facts before indulging in rude accusations which have no
basis in fact. Indeed if this is the knee jerk reaction of such scientists as Dr Rolleston I have real concerns about
the decisions they make in the field of genetic engineering.
