Huge step backwards

The minority coalition Government's programme as outlined in the speech from the Throne is a huge step backwards, says ACT Leader Richard Prebble
"The Government's programme is a series of compromises with gestures to the Greens, the Alliance and the Government's dependence on Maori MPs," Mr Prebble said.
"The programme itself has no vision. One can safely predict that this coalition will not create a country that young New Zealanders will want to return to."
