A National-Act government would implement policies that New Zealanders abhor, Alliance leader Jim Anderton said today.
He released details of the National-Act agenda at parliament today, saying National and Act had not been explicit about their intentions.
'A National-Act government would be the most dangerous government in New Zealand's political history,' Jim Anderton said.
'Superannuation, the health system, and education are all at risk. There will be wholesale privatisation of publicly-owned assets, attacks on wages
'Both National and Act have said they want to cut Superannuation. Act supported the compulsory scheme which was rejected by 92% of New Zealanders in a referendum. National set up the Superannuation Taskforce saying it wants to cut the present scheme.
'Both National and Act have attacked free doctors visits for the under-6s.
'Both National and Act wants students to pay more for their education. Under their policies, there is never a time when the student debt stops rising.
'National and Act both want to remove the public's right to holidays
'This is an agenda which is more extreme than anything New Zealand has ever seen. National and Act should not be able to get away with an election campaign where their true intentions are not explicit,' Jim Anderton said.
