Labour Party video-clips on-line

Published: Wed 3 Nov 1999 12:35 AM
Internet users can now view Labour campaign video clips from their computer desktops, Labour campaign spokesperson Pete Hodgson said today.
"The campaign video clips build on the comprehensive policy and candidate information already available on Labour's world-wide-web internet site," Pete Hodgson said.
"The internet allows us to make as much information as possible available to the public on an on-demand basis - so that they can access the information that is important to them when they want it.
"Labour is excited about the future of the internet as a key medium for commerce, communications, entertainment and education and we are pleased to be part of the future."
The first clip, a Labour television advertisement, was posted to the Labour web site yesterday. Further clips will be added during the course of the campaign.
