Is Janet Mackey's team a union team?
For Immediate Release
"Reports are coming in of "secret" meetings between the labour party and the Unions to plot to return Mackey" said National MP Annabel Young today. " Concerns have been raised with me about this level of continuing union involvement in the Labour Party. Most people think that this sort of thing ended years ago ".
Ms Young says that all Janet Mackey's advertising shows that it has been approved by Ms Takoko, the Gisborne-based senior District Organizer of the Service and Food Workers Union.
"Janet Mackey's campaign shows the influence of the unions on the Labour Party. Her campaign is run by union organizers, authorized by union organizers, approved by union organizers. If anyone wants to see Labour's true colours, they need only look to Union Red."
"This makes Janet Mackey's position on unions very clear. Labour's policy puts the union is the front seat."
