"Today's announcement by the Minister of Health that Kenepuru Hospital will deliver better and more services is fantastic news for the residents of the Porirua basin and the Kapiti Coast", said Hon Roger Sowry, List MP for Otaki.
"I am pleased that my many discussions with the Minister of Health have ensured that the growing health needs of the Porirua Basin and Kapiti Coast have been addressed as part of the improvements to the delivery of health care in the Wellington area".
"Not only have services at Kenepuru Hospital been beefed up, but we are also going to see coordinated and increased primary/community health services and clinics linked to hospital based services for Porirua and Kapiti," stated Mr Sowry.
