ACT leader to reveal Labour's true industrial relations policy
ACT Leader Richard Prebble said today Labour had given binding commitments to the trade union movement on industrial relations.
"Tomorrow Labour will put out a series of loose statements designed to reassure on industrial relations," Mr Prebble said.
"Tomorrow morning at my monthly constituency breakfast I will reveal what Labour's real policy is. Labour's industrial relations policy is a radical proposal designed to deliver industrial muscle to the country's trade union movement.
"It's a charter for industrial strife. It also strips away the rights of ordinary New Zealanders who don't wish to be part of a union.
"It is compulsory unionism by the back door."
Mr Prebble said he would expose three key planks of the Labour policy which would show Labour's true agenda.
