Myles Abstains From Casino Vote

Gilbert Myles MP will abstain from voting on the Casino Control Bill because of a potential conflict of interest. He is indirectly associated with the Sky City Casino through his involvement with the Anglican Trust for Women and Children, who benefit from casino profits.
"Although the connection is indirect, it is important that members of Parliament demonstrate the highest standards of personal and public integrity", Mr Myles said.
