Have your say on the Ngāti Rangi Claims Settlement Bill

Public submissions are now open on the Ngāti Rangi Claims Settlement Bill, which is being considered by Parliament’s Māori Affairs Committee.

The bill gives effect to certain matters contained in the deed of settlement known as Te Rukutia Te Mana and signed on 10 March 2018 by the Crown and Ngāti Rangi.

Tell the Māori Affairs Committee what you think.

Send your submission on the bill by midnight on Friday 21 September 2018.

Ka whakamana te pire i ētahi kaupapa i roto i te whakaaetanga whakataunga, e kīa nei ko Te Rukutia Te Mana, i waitohua i te 10 o Maehe 2018 e te Karauna me Ngāti Rangi.

Tukuna ōu whakaaro ki te Komiti Whiriwhiri Take Māori.

Tukuna atu tō tāpaetanga mō te pire i mua o te waenganui pō o te Paraire te 2 o Hepetema 2018.

Mō ētahi atu kōrero mō te pire, mō te pāremata rānei, toro mai:

• Ngā pitopito kōrero mō te Pire, kei te paetukutuku o te pāremata

• Te Pukamata Take Māori. Ka whakairi mātau i ngā kōrero whakahirahira mō te Pire ki reira.
