NZ ambassador to US won't extend three-year term

The New Zealand ambassador to the United States Tim Groser will not be extending his term, Foreign Minister Winston Peters says.
Tim Groser Photo: RNZ Mr Groser took up the role in 2015 and his three-year contract is drawing to a close.
Stuff reported today that Mr Groser had been recalled.
Mr Peters said that was a baseless claim and that Tim Groser asked himself to finish at the end of his term and not have it extended.
