Extradition request for Malaysian diplomat – Green Party media comments
“The extradition request by the New Zealand government is a good step forward and we are pleased the matter is
progressing.
“Obviously, Mr Rizalman should have never been allowed to leave the country in the first place and it is disappointing
that this request has taken so long.
However, the most important thing is for justice to be served and due process to be followed, and we are happy this is
one step closer,” said Green Party women’s spokesperson Jan Logie.
