Request for inquiry into Trust

FORMAL REQUEST FOR INQUIRY
New Zealand First Leader Rt Hon Winston Peters has written to the Auditor-General today requesting an inquiry into Te Roopu Taurima O Manukau Trust.
“As we have previously stated there is sufficient evidence around significant failings and lack of transparency within the taxpayer-funded trust that highlight the need for an investigation at the top level.
“The previous audit of the intellectually disabled services provider was clearly superficial and an in-depth inquiry is overdue,” says Mr Peters.
