Dotcom minions in Parliament? Not on the backs of northern Maori voters
"Maori voters in the electorate of Te Tai Tokerau will not appreciate their seat being used as a springboard to get Kim
Dotcom's minions into Parliament," said the president of the Maori Party, Rangimarie Naida Glavish. "Our people will not
appreciate being used as pawns in the Dotcom strategy described in the Herald by Martyn Bradbury: 'if this works the way we hope it will, Hone Harawira, Laila Harre, Annette Sykes and John Minto
will be in Parliament'.” Ms Glavish said: “Not on the backs of Maori voters in Te Tai Tokerau.
"With Kelvin Davis certain to be back in Parliament on the Labour Party list, our Maori voters in the North can stop the
Dotcom strategy in its tracks by casting their electorate votes for the Maori Party candidate, Rev Te Hira Paenga, who
has the personality to appeal to rangatahi, and the whakapapa and skills to appeal to their elders, and who has dynamic
plans for social and economic revitalisation in our northern rohe," said Ms Glavish.
