Youth Week Begins
Coromandel MP Scott Simpson says Youth Week 2014 is an excellent opportunity to celebrate young people doing great work in our communities.
Scott Simpson MP says “The young people I meet around the Coromandel electorate give me great optimism for the future of our region.”
“We have a number of impressive young people here, involved in all sorts of projects; environmental, business, education, the arts, to name a few.”
He says “They are the leaders of the future and I want to thank them for their dedication and hard work.”
Youth Week is designed to recognise 12-24 year olds who’ve have contributed to their communities.
This year it runs from May 17 – 25.
