Solutions to child health welcomed
The Green Party welcomes the release of Child Poverty Action Group’s (CPAG) policy paper today [1/5] putting forward solutions to look after the health of New Zealand children in poverty.
“Every child in New Zealand deserves a good life and a fair future, the set of recommendations CPAG has come up with would help to give them that,” Green Party health spokesperson Kevin Hague said today.
“CPAG’s report echoes much of what we put forward in the Health Select Committee inquiry into improving child health.
“We have a host of solutions to care for our littlest New Zealanders properly, it is just the action from the National Government that is overdue.”
