Key Notes
Today I am arriving home from a very successful visit to China, Hong Kong, and the Netherlands.
While meeting with world leaders we had some great wins for New Zealand. We agreed to extend our trade target between New Zealand and China, and we deepened relations with the European Union including the option of exploring a Free Trade Agreement with the EU.
Improved relations with our trading partners are a long-term boost for exporters and ultimately more jobs and opportunities for all New Zealanders.
Regards,
John Key
Prime Minister
