National Pasifika MP Has a Huge Role Ahead
New Zealand First has congratulated Peseta Sam Lotu-Iiga on his new role as Minister for Pacific Island Affairs, and Associate Minister for Local Government.
Spokesperson for Pacific Island Affairs Le’aufa’amulia Asenati Lole-Taylor hopes that Mr Lotu-Iiga’s appointment will have a profound effect on economic and social wellbeing issues that enhance the lives of Pacific people in New Zealand.
“Our people face huge cost rises with reduced spending power, alongside the on-going issues of affordable housing and employment security.
“New Zealand First will be watching the Minister in his new role and we offer our support as he works to make a ‘brighter future’ for Pasifika people in New Zealand,” says Mrs Lole-Taylor.
