Stepping Things Up For Tāmaki Makaurau
The Māori Party MP for Tāmaki Makaurau is showing no sign of slowing down, with the official opening of a new office in Manurewa to be held this Sunday. Dr Pita Sharples has sent out a pānui to the people of Tāmaki Makaurau extending a hand to those seeking help from his office.
“The people of Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) know just what it means for different communities to live together in collaboration. As tangata whenua we must be the ones to lead this city into the future.” said Dr Sharples. “My office is here to listen to the needs of our people and assist whānau to achieve their goals. I am excited that with our new location, we will be better placed to serve our community.”
“I am not retiring from Parliament until the next election and so I will continue to work for the people of this rohe,” said Dr Sharples. “Now more than ever my office is committed to providing a helping hand.”
“The Māori Party is dedicated to making positive change for tangata whenua through Parliament. Even more so, I am committed to helping the people of my electorate on a personal level,” said Dr Sharples. “I invite anyone seeking help to call into our new office and to come along on Sunday to meet me and my team.”
