The Student Loan Scheme Amendment Bill passed its first reading by 109 to 11with the Greens, Mana and Chris Carter opposed.
The bill was sent to the Finance and Expenditure for Consideration.
The Natural Health Products Bill passed its first reading on a voice vote, and was sent to the Health Committee for consideration.
The Crimes Amendment Bill (No 2) passed its third reading by 109 to 11 with the Greens, Mana Party and Chris Carter opposing.
Parliament rose at 6pm.
