Parliament Resumes And Select Committee Preview
Parliament resumes today at 2pm with Question Time.
Following this MPs will complete the debate in reply to the Prime Minister’s statement with 22 minutes remaining.
The Appropriation (2009/10 Financial Review) Bill will then be given its second reading without debate and MPs will begin the first reading stage of the Regulatory Reform Bill.
On Wednesday, the Education and Science Committee will hold a public hearing on the financial reviews of the Tertiary Education Commissions and Industrial Research Ltd
Other select committee meetings include the Finance and Expenditure Committee considering student loan legislation and the Health Committee continuing to hear submissions on the Smoke-free Environments (Controls and Enforcement) Amendment Bill.
