New Community Constable A Boost In Fight Against Crime
Melissa Lee, National Candidate for Mt Albert is tonight addressing the inaugural meeting of the Avondale West Neighbourhood Watch Group along with the new Avondale Community Constable whose appointment she championed.
“Local communities are concerned about the impact of crime, by working with the Police they can bring down crime in their area.” Said Ms Lee.
“National has bought in a raft of new legislation to deliver the tools to the police to target crime. National’s Budget delivers 600 extra police. The National Government believes that more can be done to combat crime.“
“To support this community, I have worked as the National Buddy MP for Mt Albert to secure a Community Constable for Avondale.”
“Dealing with crime requires a community effort.“
“As a local MP, I will work hard to support communities as they work with the Police. Community constables are an important link, that harness the local community in the fight against crime.”
“I am the only candidate that Mt Albert voters can vote for that will be inside John Key’s Government.”
