United Future Exceeds Itself

Minister of Research, Science and Technology, Pete Hodgson, today welcomed United Future’s science policy release but
said that United Future had “exceeded itself”.
“United Future has committed to raising government funding in research and development to 3.0% of GDP which happens to
be more than four times the world average. Furthermore it is about three times the investment of the highest nation, the
United States, and much of their investment is into military research.”
