Statement regarding comments to forum
National Party Industrial Relations spokeswoman Kate Wilkinson says comments made this morning about the employer
contribution to KiwiSaver under a National Government were wrong and do not reflect party policy.
“I misinterpreted a question I was asked at a forum this morning about National’s views on compulsory employer
contributions to KiwiSaver.
“National will release its KiwiSaver policy later this year, but suggestions that National will do away with compulsory
employer contributions to the scheme are incorrect.”
