Secret talks on ETS complete nonsense
A report in the National Business Review of secret talks between National and Labour on a deal over the Emissions
Trading Scheme is complete nonsense, says National’s Climate Change spokesman, Nick Smith.
“National is contributing constructively to the select committee process on this bill and has not had, nor has any
intention of having, any secret talks with Labour on the ETS.
“National has asked NBR for a retraction to be published as soon as possible on their website.”
