Strength to care for New Zealand
The Progressive Party will campaign for a New Zealand that has the Strength To Care, the party executive decided when
meeting to plan election strategy this weekend.
Progressive Party President Matt Robson said the Progressive executive signed off a campaign plan that would see
candidates standing in electorates
around New Zealand.
Priority policies will be announced in health education, housing and security for young New Zealanders.
“Just as we were able to win Kiwibank and four weeks annual leave by prioritising gains and working constructively in a
progressive coalition, we can achieve fresh gains to reduce student debt, improve access to health care and make home
ownership more affordable. The more support we get the more of these gains New Zealanders can enjoy.
“Progressives will campaign as a constructive coalition partner for Labour, and we call on other parties to say now what
sort of government their supporters are voting for instead of keeping quiet until after the election.
“For example National should say if there are any of our assets they wouldn't sell or give away to their mates. We
challenge other parties like NZ First and the Maori party to tell voters if they would use their votes to allow National
to sell our strategic assets," Matt Robson said.
