Minister Facilitates meeting with Senior Doctors
The Minister of Health, David Cunliffe is to facilitate a meeting between senior doctors and the country’s District Health Boards to work towards an early settlement of their current wage dispute.
The Minister says he is keen to keep the parties talking as senior doctors play a critical role in the provision of a quality health service. The outcome will be settled in negotiations between the union and the District Health Boards.
