Comment on resignation
Environment Minister Trevor Mallard made the following comment today on the resignation of Hugh Logan:
"Mr Logan informed me of his intention to resign and I respect his decision. Mr Logan has had an extensive and respectable career as a public service chief executive and did an excellent job getting DOC back on its feet after a troubled period. He is a leader in his field, and has been dedicated to his work on the issues of environmental sustainability and climate change and I respect him for that. I regret that the issues of the last few months have led to this point, and I wish him and his family all the very best for the future."
