1. JEANETTE FITZSIMONS to the Minister responsible for Climate Change Issues: Does he accept the assessment of the
Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change that “If warming is not kept below two degrees centigrade … substantial global
impacts will occur, such as species extinctions, and millions of people at risk from drought, hunger, flooding.”; if so,
will he be advocating at Bali for a global agreement that this two degree limit should not be exceeded?
2. JOHN KEY to the Prime Minister: Does she stand by her statement yesterday, when asked how she expects
well-intentioned, honest, ordinary New Zealanders to understand the Electoral Finance Bill, that “One expects people to
read it carefully and to consult lawyers”; if so, why?
3. MOANA MACKEY to the Minister for Economic Development: Has he received any reports on plans to transform New
Zealand’s economy?
4. Hon BILL ENGLISH to the Minister of Justice: Does she stand by her statements last night, in relation to the
interpretation of clause 80(d) of the Electoral Finance Bill, that “We are not going to put it in law; the commission
has asked for an interpretation.” and “I am prepared to say that my interpretation could be wrong.”; if so, why?
