Heatley should get his facts straight says Dyson
National MP Phil Heatley should learn to check his facts if he wants to make allegations in the House, says Ruth Dyson.
"Today Mr Heatley accused my office of having knowledge of a woman named Rana Martin subletting her Housing New Zealand house and failing to take action. The member has his facts wrong and his laziness is showing."
"No contact has been made to my office at any time in relation to Rana Martin.
"Housing New Zealand staff and my electorate office have a very good working relationship and Heatley's allegations to the contrary are wrong.
"Phil Heatley is wrong in this matter, as in many others, and should apologise to my staff immediately."
