Dargaville
I went to a choice hui in Dargaville on Friday. We had about 40-50 people turn up and I probably talked too much, but seeing as how I’d missed the last hui, it was a really good chance to give everyone a catch up on party business.
I also got the scoops on a bunch of local issues to chase up including the bridges at Matakohe, access to Kaimoana out at the beach, problems with the local constabulary, an alternative education programme, a question about somebody who’d applied to be a JP, ideas about prisoners wanting leave, and a couple of problems with Housing Corp.
With all of that to do, I might avoid Dargaville for the next couple of years…nah, just joking. I hope to get out there regularly.
