Men's health issues right on target
Health Minister Pete Hodgson has congratulated the Freemason's for their plans to highlight men's health issues during a month-long campaign starting in late October.
"What this demonstrates is the power of communities when they get into the driving seat with health,
"We know that small changes in lifestyle can have a huge impact on health. And we know that men often delay seeking advice or treatment when it comes to health, Pete Hodgson said.
"Our national identity of the strong silent type is giving way to a new breed of men who want to stay healthy for themselves and for their families. I am delighted that the Freemasons are showing leadership and hosting open clinics for men to learn more about their health."
