Re-appointment of members to Cadastral Surveyors Licensing Board of New Zealand
Land Information Minister David Parker today announced the reappointment of members to the Cadastral Surveyors Licensing Board (CSLB) of New Zealand.
“These members have served on the Board since it was established in 2002, and I am pleased with the service they have given,” he said. “The experience they bring to the CSLB will be valuable in finalising the Board’s formative work.”
The Board licenses cadastral surveyors under the Cadastral Survey Act 2002 to conduct cadastral (land title) surveys. The Board has the important task of setting the standards of education and practical experience required for the licensing of surveyors. In addition, the Board exercises certain disciplinary powers.
The following members have been re-appointed as members of the Board:
Gary David CLARK of Auckland
Brian John COUTTS of Dunedin
Brett Douglas GAWN of Wellington
Jenny KIRK of Auckland
Marton David SINCLAIR of Christchurch
The following have been appointed as substitute members to the Board:
Frances Helen RUSSELL of Wellington
Peter Michael SMIDT of Napier
All appointments are for a term of three years, commencing on 1 September 2006.
