David Carter Being Misleading – Donnelly
“David Carter’s allegation that I claimed that dog registration was for hydatids control is completely incorrect," says New Zealand First MP Brian Donnelly.
“Mr Carter was making the argument that dog owners had annual costs and got nothing for it, and I informed him that was a 'leftover from the old hydatid days'.
“In my speech I made it clear that I agreed with Mr Carter. The Hansard clearly shows this.
"Mr Carter heard my speech so his claim is either deliberately misleading or he is so thick that he misconstrues 'I agree' to mean anything he wishes to invent. Perhaps a tapeworm has entered his brain,” said Mr Donnelly.
