Anderton's policy 'strategic waffle'
Jim Anderton's draft National Drugs Policy is more strategic waffle from a government too tired to take action, says National's Health spokesman, Tony Ryall.
"Jim Anderton has had years in this role. If he hasn't been able to produce a credible action plan by now, then it's time someone else did the job," says Mr Ryall.
"The document he released today does nothing to provide any leadership for the drugs crisis facing this country.
"With a methamphetamine problem that is spiralling out of control, and drug rehabilitation beds closing around the country, we need action now, not more strategic waffle," says Mr Ryall.
